Now more than ever, Brevard County needs a proven Sheriff with Law Enforcement experience to protect our citizens, our cops, and our Constitution.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS

Sheriff Wayne Ivey has served our community for over forty years.

He served with the Clay County and Putnam County Sheriff’s Office from 1980 until 1993.

In 1993, Sheriff Ivey was appointed as a Special Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Between 2000 and 2005 he served as a Special Agent Supervisor, and from 2005 through 2011 as the FDLE Resident Agent in Charge.

He has developed nationally recognized investigative initiatives and crime prevention programs and has been called upon to testify at United States Congressional hearings.

Sheriff Ivey was first elected Sheriff in 2012. He was re-elected in 2016 (unopposed), and again in 2020.

Over forty years of Law Enforcement experience.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN MANAGEMENT AND A GRADUATE OF THE FBI NATIONAL ACADEMY.

A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT LEADER AND INNOVATOR.

A CHAMPION FOR FIRST RESPONDERS, MILITARY VETERANS, AND THE CONSTITUTION.

When I first asked you to elect me Sheriff, I promised three things…

1. To lower the crime rate in Brevard County
2. To protect our Constitutional Rights
3. To work every day to protect our citizens and pets

  • REDUCED THE CRIME RATE BY OVER 52%
  • FEWER VICTIMS OF CRIME IN OUR COMMUNITY THAN AT ANY TIME IN THE PAST FORTY-FIVE YEARS.
  • WORKED TIRELESSLY TO PROTECT CIVIL AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS
  • ESTABLISHED “NO-KILL” ANIMAL SHELTERS SAVING THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF PETS
